Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Oleaster Hospital in Birmingham. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of the Melissa Suite.

The successful candidate will have significant experience in PICU/acute settings and a strong background in clinical leadership. You will be responsible for supporting a positive and professional working environment, encouraging staff development, and direct line management of a subset of the team.

About the Role
  • Support the Ward Manager in the delivery of patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and staff engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • NMC Registration.
  • Significant experience in PICU/acute settings.
