**Job Summary**

The Senior Safety Engineer will be a key member of the Safety and Environment team, providing regulatory compliance advice across various projects. This role will involve acting as the Project Discipline Leader (PDL) on individual projects, ensuring the successful delivery of safety-related project deliverables.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement HSE plans, philosophies, and Terms of Reference (ToR) for safety workshops.
  • Participate in HAZID/ENVID, HAZOP, and SIL workshops to ensure project safety.
  • Manage and sign off on safety actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project safety and deliverables.
  • Lead UK projects, ensuring timely issuance of deliverables to support project schedules.

**Requirements**

  • Extensive experience in energy projects, particularly in oil and gas design.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams to produce high-quality deliverables on time.
  • Skilled in developing HSE plans and philosophies.
  • Experience with SIMOPS, ALARP demonstration, and safety cases.
  • Proficient in working on CDM and decommissioning projects.
  • Experience in CCS projects and attending safety workshops (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, ALARP).
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and engage with stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in multinational FEED projects.

**Qualifications**

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
