Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PRS, a leading international data hosting company. As an In-House Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of our state-of-the-art data centre in Slough.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on power generators, water and cooling systems, chillers, condensers, AC systems, CRAC units, lighting, HVAC, pumps, motors, and BMS operation.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our data centre, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our data centre's systems and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • Full Mechanical Engineering City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent.
  • Proven track record in working within data centre or banking environments.
  • Hands-on experience with critical systems and infrastructure.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
