Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Status: Permanent
As a key member of our Finance Team, you will provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and their team, focusing on maintaining the Accounts Payable mailbox, answering invoice queries, and reconciling supplier statements.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and manage a high-volume mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and queries.
- Review and prepare purchase invoices for upload into the financial system, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Respond to supplier queries via phone and email, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with Operational teams to resolve queries and raise exceptions, ensuring seamless communication and resolution.
- Reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
- Assist in generating supplier payments, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to support business decisions and improve processes.
You will be comfortable dealing with internal and external stakeholders, including operational staff, suppliers, and service providers, management, and other senior members of staff.

Personal Specification- You have experience working in an environment with high volumes of email traffic.
- You have experience working in an Accounts Payable team.
- You have experience working in a healthcare environment.
- You have basic MS Office competence.
- You have previous experience working with Access Financials.
- You have effective written and oral communication skills.
- You have high attention to detail and accuracy.
- You are a team worker and collaborator, able to work effectively with others.
- You are confident in prioritizing workloads independently and managing your time effectively.
- You have a minimum of three A levels (any subjects applicable) above Grade C or equivalent academic qualification, or relevant experience for this role.
- You have a degree (any subject applicable) or equivalent academic qualification, or experience for this role.
All successful candidates will be subject to DBS checks.
