The Role of a Chef at Eurest

We are seeking an ambitious Chef to join our team on a part-time basis, contracted to 31.25 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food that delights our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation and Service

You will be responsible for preparing delicious, high-quality food that meets the expectations of our clients and customers.

Menu Development and Implementation

You will oversee and implement menu changes, ensuring that our food offerings are always fresh and exciting.

Customer Feedback and Improvement

You will listen to and act on customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.

Team Support and Leadership

You will support your team in creating new menus and creative food concepts, ensuring that our food offerings are always innovative and appealing.

Brand Representation and Image

You will represent Eurest and maintain a positive brand image, ensuring that our values and mission are reflected in every aspect of our food services.

Inventory Management and Kitchen Hygiene

You will monitor inventories to keep our kitchens well-stocked and oversee kitchen cleaning responsibilities to maintain hygiene standards.

Compliance with Regulations

You will comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that our food services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Culinary Expertise

You will have a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, demonstrating your expertise in culinary arts.

Leadership and Team Management

You will have experience supervising a team, ensuring that our food services are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Flexibility and Adaptability

You will have a flexible approach to working, able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.

Food Hygiene and Safety

You will hold a Food Hygiene certificate, ensuring that our food services meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
