Key Responsibilities- Automation Scripting: Develop and create automation scripting for Functional Simulation Testing (FST) and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) to meet test case requirements.
- Tool Development: Design and develop tools for Real-Time Digital Simulator (RTDS) to analyze results and improve testing efficiency.
- Functional Validation: Conduct functional validation using RTDS to ensure accuracy and reliability of automation solutions.
- HMI Application Development: Develop a Human Machine Interface (HMI) application to control and monitor High-Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems.
- Project Planning: Prepare and maintain the Validation & Verification team's activity plans in accordance with project schedules.
- Shift Management: Effectively manage ATE Validation team shift plans to ensure seamless testing operations.
- Client Collaboration: Lead Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between standard/design requirements and customer technical requirements to define test requirements.
- Project Milestones: Understand key milestones in the project plan to ensure testing activities are properly provisioned.
- Communication: Clearly communicate details of failures to respective engineering functions.
- Problem-Solving: Utilize problem-solving skills to support test issues, particularly in lab setup and debugging.
- Test Development: Assist ATE Validation Engineers in developing tests and provide clear reviews/analysis of test scripts developed with respect to requirements.
Proficiency in Python scripting and experience with automation tools are essential for this role. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment are also required.
