About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Programmer to join our team at Lord Search & Selection. As a leading designer, manufacturer, and commissioning specialist, our client is expanding to meet the demand within their global customer market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete the setup and installation of robots from a single robot to multiple robot cells.
  • Program robot paths, set up program structure, and implement offline programming.
  • Configure robot input and output, weld interface, and program call.
  • Work on robot drawings and configurations.
  • Read and understand electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • Order materials for robots.
  • Test and validate robot programs to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Develop robot programs using programming languages.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of HNC level or equivalent in manufacturing, electrical, or mechatronics engineering. A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in programming robots, specifically hands-on experience programming robots ABB, Kuka, and Fanuc, is required. A good understanding of PLC functionality is also necessary. Experience in robotic spot welding, MIG welding, and material handling is a plus.
