Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a successful two-form entry Primary School in the Bootle area. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one behavioural support for a child in Reception, working closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum.

About the Role:
  • Provide one-to-one behavioural support for a child in Reception
  • Work closely with the SENDCo and outside agencies to enable the student to progress through the curriculum
  • Support the child to achieve their full potential, in-line with their EHCP
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to support the child's learning

Requirements:
  • A passion for SEND and experience working with Primary aged children
  • A positive and creative approach to behaviour and confidence building
  • An ability to work as part of a team
  • Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
