Mencap is seeking a part-time Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Westcliff-on-Sea.
About the Service
Our Westcliff service provides support to eight individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support individuals with toileting needs.
- Assist with light household tasks, such as ironing and cleaning.
- Ensure the safety of the house and individuals.
- Prepare individuals for the day ahead.
- Maintain a clean and tidy home environment.
- Support individuals with health needs overnight.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
