Mencap is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Waking Night Support Worker to join our team in Westcliff-on-Sea.
About the Service
Our Westcliff service provides support to eight individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities and complex healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support individuals with toileting needs.
- Assist with light household tasks during nighttime hours.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the individuals we support.
- Prepare individuals for the day ahead.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and tidy living environment.
- Support individuals with their health needs during nighttime hours.
Requirements
- A genuine passion for supporting others.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build meaningful relationships.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive and empathetic attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities.
Contract Options
Part-time: flexible hours based on availability.
Shift Times
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare rotas at least 4 weeks in advance.

24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) + a variety of benefits including pension and holiday buying options.
