We are seeking a skilled and experienced Greenkeeper to join our team at Arena Racing Company. As a Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of our golf course and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and maintain all areas of the golf course and surrounds in accordance with good sports turf management guidelines.
- Manage all fine turf areas to ensure they are in the best possible condition and meet the highest standards of presentation.
- Plan and implement daily, weekly, seasonal, and annual tasks to maintain the golf course and its surroundings.
- Carry out course construction, bunker, tees, greens, and other maintenance tasks as required.
- Presentation of lawns, car park, and other clubhouse areas to the highest possible standard.
- Flower bed and hanging basket maintenance as required.
- Ensure all roadways are clear of rubbish and dirt.
- Operate golf course machinery and equipment in accordance with manufacturer's instructions.
- Previous experience working in the golf sector.
- NVQ qualification to L3 in Turf Maintenance/Sports Turf Management, or equivalent/higher.
- Full clean UK driving license.
- Spray PA1, PA2A & PA6 an advantage.
- Chainsaw qualifications an advantage.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- 2 Annual Members passes, giving access to over 1500 racedays.
