Functional Skills Coach

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as a Functional Skills Coach/Coordinator. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in supporting apprentices and staff in achieving their Functional Skills qualifications in Maths and English.
As our Functional Skills Coach/Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the progress of our apprentices and providing tuition in basic skills to staff within the organization. You will need to ensure that learning is on track to achieve qualifications in a timely manner and manage your own time effectively.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of delivering Functional Skills to adults in the workplace, excellent subject knowledge in Maths and English, and knowledge of the apprenticeship requirements. Communication skills are essential for this role, as you will need to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal staff and external agencies.
About YouWe are looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent organisational capacity, and effective communication skills. You will need to be proactive in following up progress and organising your own teaching load. The role may require some evening working.
A teaching qualification is required for this role, and you will need to hold Maths and English qualifications at Level 2, with Level 3 being desirable. You must also be able to travel to various locations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight as necessary.
