Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team at Bucks and Berks Recruitment. As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our fee earners with the profitable management of their caseload while maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct and customer service.
Main Responsibilities
- Carry out daily file opening and administration tasks with precision and accuracy.
- Respond to additional enquiries raised by buyer's solicitors and prepare comprehensive replies.
- Progress post-exchange and post-completion work and files with attention to detail.
- Make appointments, arrange meetings, and maintain an up-to-date computerized diary for the fee earners.
- Provide exceptional support to clients, both in person and over the phone.
- Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch with a focus on timeliness and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules and the Rules on the Professional Conduct of Solicitors.
- Conduct legal research in areas of work undertaken by the Firm, or as directed.
- Complete administrative tasks, answer incoming calls, and provide excellent customer service.
- Provide cover alongside other paralegals for reception at our head office.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in conveyancing.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of numeracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivation and excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Fully computer literate and proficient in using relevant software.
