Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure project costs are managed within budget and do not exceed tender or varied allowances.
  2. Oversee the preparation and submission of applications for payment on or before the due date.

  14. Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
  15. Undertake additional duties, training, and/or hours of work as reasonably required and consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
  16. Present a professional and positive image of the department in all internal and external contact, maintaining mutually constructive, positive, and beneficial relationships.
  17. Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
  18. Work closely with design departments to ensure timely progression of quality solutions.
  19. Evaluate innovative solutions and processes to improve project delivery.
  20. Contribute to risk and opportunity schedules on a monthly basis.
  21. Ensure designs are developed that are safe to construct, commission, operate, and maintain.
  22. Complete the capitalization process.

About the Ideal Candidate:

Essential:

  • Basic engineering background with a strong understanding of various conditions of contract, particularly NEC.
  • Engineering/Technical qualification (HNC minimum) required.
  • Experience in supply chain expedition and knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes.
  • CDM and Health & Safety knowledge.

Desirable:

  • Relevant professional qualification an advantage.
  • Collaborative approach and strong communication skills.
