About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to promote the Trust's services and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication plans to promote the Trust's services and reputation
  • Manage media relations and respond to media inquiries
  • Coordinate the production of internal and external communications, including press releases, media statements, and social media content
  • Work closely with senior management and clinical staff to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, patients, and staff
  • Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and stakeholder engagement

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in communications or public relations
  • Strong media relations and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
