Position Overview

MWH Treatment is seeking to enhance its operational capabilities by appointing a Site Manager for our ESD joint venture framework. This role is pivotal in supporting the Project Manager with the strategic planning, organization, oversight, and execution of all construction activities on-site.

About ESD

ESD is a collaborative venture between MWH Treatment, Binnies, and Galliford Try, established to implement Scottish Water's Non-Infrastructure programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Daily management of site operations, including supervising site activities, conducting briefings, preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS), and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Coordinate the procurement and supply of necessary materials and equipment.
  • Review and verify project drawings and quantities to ensure accuracy for the tasks at hand.
  • Uphold and promote the highest standards of safety and quality in all deliverables.
  • Plan, organize, and monitor activities to meet safety, time, and quality benchmarks.
  • Identify and address any site non-conformities promptly.
  • Manage all financial aspects proactively, ensuring robust controls are established.
