Our client is driven by a relentless obsession with perfecting their products. We're looking for a Product Specialist/Evangelist who is obsessed with product details and can bring that energy to their marketing efforts.

The Role

As a Product Specialist, you will dive deep into their product lines—from products to accessories ensuring every feature and benefit is reflected in their marketing. Your obsession with understanding products and details will fuel campaigns that resonate with sports lovers. You'll ensure the messaging highlights what makes the products stand out.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product authority, providing in-depth knowledge of products to the marketing team.
  • I'd like you to collaborate with marketing specialists to craft campaigns that showcase product features in a way that speaks to customer needs.
  • Lead product launches by ensuring all messaging reflects your deep understanding of product specs and customer expectations.
  • Analyse market trends and customer feedback to continuously refine product positioning and ensure it aligns with current demands.
  • Manage product portfolio - identify the marketing mix, and identify gaps.
  • Data-driven decision making.

Experience Needed

  • A deep obsession with product details, always digging into features to understand how they meet customer needs.
  • Proven experience in working with marketing teams to shape product-driven campaigns.
  • Proven product marketing experience.
  • Expertise in market segmentation, competitive positioning, and creating compelling USPs.
  • Excellent project management skills handling product launches, timelines, and life cycles for complex product portfolios.
  • Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus, but managing detailed product lines is key.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical product details into clear, engaging content.
