Site Services & Facilities Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Services & Facilities Engineer to join our team at a brand-new manufacturing facility in Leicester. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting maintenance, repair, and breakdown opportunities on a range of site services and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on site services and facilities, including steam boilers, air compressors, water treatment, effluent plant, and ammonia refrigeration equipment.
  • Work on brand-new equipment and systems, ensuring they are installed and commissioned correctly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve maintenance and repair issues.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a site services environment within a manufacturing facility.
  • Multi-skilled with a formal engineering qualification to NVQ Level 3.
  • 17th or 18th Edition certification.
  • Steam Utilisation and Boiler House Certification.
  • Amonia Refrigeration knowledge and safety awareness.
  • Utilities experience, including Gas, Electric, and Water.
  • BMS Systems and Monitoring experience.
  • Effluent treatment and drainage knowledge, as well as General Facilities Management.
