Theatre Support Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Theatre team as a Healthcare Assistant. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Scrub Practitioners in setting up for surgical procedures
- Monitor and maintain stock levels in the theatre
- Work across various surgical specialties, including urology, endoscopy, and orthopaedics
- Develop a good understanding of surgical procedures and equipment
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay up-to-date with equipment and procedures
- Assist with porter duties as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Good understanding of theatre operations and the role of a Healthcare Assistant
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
