Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Theatre Bookings Coordinator to join our team at Spire Healthcare Ltd. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for coordinating theatre bookings, ensuring seamless communication with consultants, nurses, and anaesthetists, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate theatre bookings, including receiving and registering bookings from consultants and their secretaries, and processing pre-assessment bookings in line with current processes.
  • Enter and process inpatient/daycase bookings into our system, ensuring accurate and timely communication with relevant parties.
  • Liaise with NHS Trusts to address waiting lists and monitor dates of appointments in accordance with contract requirements.
Requirements
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Administration, contact centre, or database management experience.
  • Ability to manage own workload, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Fully IT literate, with proficiency in MS Office.
