IT Project Manager – Cornwallis Elt – Permanent Role

This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring three days in the office each week.

The IT Project Manager will be tasked with directing the planning, execution, and successful completion of various IT projects within the organization, which encompass both infrastructure and software development efforts. The role necessitates the compilation of all current and prospective IT projects, assessing and prioritizing them based on their business significance and alignment with strategic goals, followed by managing these projects throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring effective communication at both Group and local levels as appropriate.

  • Oversee projects in line with established governance frameworks, employing structured and suitable project management methodologies.
  • Generate and uphold all pertinent project documentation to meet high-quality standards, including initiation and closure documents, plans, reports, RAID logs, and resource estimates.
  • Organize and facilitate productive project steering committees and cross-functional meetings, which may involve external participants.
  • Foster and maintain robust relationships with sponsors and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
  • Identify, lead, and mentor business project resources to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Effectively communicate project progress to all relevant stakeholders in accordance with established governance protocols.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Heads of Functions and Senior Management, including C-suite executives.
  • Proficient in engaging with both Business and IT departments.
  • Capability to lead, manage, and execute complex insurance M&A integration projects and/or internal business transformation initiatives encompassing IT, Data, Process Improvement, and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Focused on project delivery with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Proactive in recognizing and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Experience in delivering projects in collaboration with external partners.
