We are seeking to appoint a Family Support Coordinator to implement children and family-oriented spiritual initiatives within the local community, aligned with our mission to foster a vibrant faith in Jesus among families.
- Assist in the effective execution of children's and family-focused spiritual activities within the community.
- Facilitate Christian worship experiences tailored for children and families.
- Collaborate with the Corps Officer and Children's Ministry Team to organize events that honor and celebrate family engagement.
- Exhibit a professional yet compassionate approach when engaging with participants of the programs.
- Participate in the planning and evaluation of programs and activities.
- Maintain strong connections with the community and relevant external organizations.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong commitment to Christianity and an active practice of faith, with a readiness to serve the community.
- Proven experience in coordinating community events for diverse groups.
- The ability to prioritize, organize, and manage personal workload effectively to achieve goals.
- Excellent communication skills to foster productive relationships with colleagues, program participants, and external partners.
This position has an occupational requirement that the successful candidate must be a dedicated and practicing Christian, aligned with the beliefs and objectives of The Salvation Army.
