Electrical Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturer in Berkshire. This is a 3-month rolling contract with a competitive hourly rate of £35ph, outside of IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive maintenance, including fault finding and replacing components on various machines.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure minimal downtime and high equipment standards.
  • Swap components on a range of equipment, including conveyors, cranes, cookers, slicers, and pallets.
  • Electrical responsibilities include fault finding on PLCs and various electrical components, such as sensors, relays, and control panels.

Requirements:

  • Previous electrical and mechanical experience in an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or packaging sites.
  • Electrical engineering qualification.
  • Ability to fault find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
  • Experience with working PLCs (Siemens S5 and S7).

Benefits:

  • Established rolling 3-month contract.
  • Panama shifts, including day and night shifts.
  • Minimum of 40 hours per week available.
  • Outside IR35.
