Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

ATA Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's manufacturing team in Berkshire. This is a 3-month rolling contract with a competitive hourly rate of £35ph.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias to support our client's internal team and minimize downtime. The successful candidate will be responsible for reactive and preventative maintenance, fault finding, and repairing a wide range of electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform reactive maintenance, including fault finding and replacing components on various machines.
  2. Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is running efficiently.
  3. Swap components on equipment such as conveyors, cranes, cookers, slicers, and pallets.
  4. Electrical responsibilities include fault finding on PLCs and various electrical components, such as sensors, relays, proximities, control panels, single phase, three phase, AC and DC motors, and contactors.
Requirements:
  1. Previous electrical and mechanical experience within an industrial environment, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or packaging sites.
  2. Electrical engineering qualification.
  3. Able to fault find and repair a wide range of electrical components.
  4. Experience with working PLCs (Siemens S5 and S7).
Benefits:
  1. Established rolling 3-month contract.
  2. Panama Shifts including day and nights.
  3. Minimum of 40 hours per week available.
