Job Description

Job Summary:

Centre People Appointments is seeking a highly skilled IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktop and network issues
  • Implement and optimize network and PC systems
  • Design and implement secure network and PC configurations
  • Migrate and support PC and Call Centre systems
  • Develop and implement new features and services
  • Manage and maintain PC and Desktop Security systems
  • Provide 1st level troubleshooting and escalation support to customers
  • Maintain secure operations and keep the environment tidy
  • Document and implement changes and modifications
  • Visit customer premises for project or maintenance contract work

Requirements:

  • Wide knowledge and proficiency in PC software such as Microsoft WIN 10/11, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, AD administration, Virtualization, Cloud (AWS, Azure), Office/Mailer, Switch/Router/IPT, and Firewall products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to investigate and source answers to various technical issues
  • Proven customer service experience
  • Strong time management, multi-tasking, and organisational skills
  • Strong work ethic, accurate, organised, and eye for detail
  • Reliable time keeping and attendance
  • Administration background and keenness to get involved and support all customer service areas

Working Conditions:

  • Contract position with possibility to extend
  • 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00
  • Leeds (Client site)
  • Up to £30,000 depending on experience
  • All travel expenses reimbursed
