About the Role

Pilgrim's Europe is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business process improvement and IT system development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Systems Analysis
    • Conduct thorough analysis and development work related to existing and new systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Stakeholder Analysis and Management
    • Interview key stakeholders to establish the basis for business analysis work.
    • Engage with business users through various means to support and identify business requirements.
    • Support stakeholder management strategy during active projects.
    • Acquire a range of information about the business situation, including any risks or issues to be considered.
    • Communicate business analysis outputs to stakeholders as defined within the project.
  • Requirements Engineering
    • Facilitate and document workshops to understand, document, and support the design of business requirements.
    • Develop Requirement Specifications, Functional Specifications, and Implementation Plans.
  • Service Desk Incident Triage
    • Investigate and analyze Incident tickets raised through the Service Desk and utilize BA techniques to provide suitable solutions to resolve.
  • Key Deliverables
    • Develop and record Testing and User Acceptance Plans.
  • Process Management
    • Visualize 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes through relevant process modeling techniques.
    • Develop a detailed understanding of business processes.
    • Engage with business process owners to create effective group solutions driving competitive advantage.
    • Drive operational improvement in core business processes, leading to higher business productivity.
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes to deliver the highest level of quality.
  • Data Modelling
    • Document how data items relate to one another within an application.
    • Consider master data flow with the objective of ensuring data is only mastered once.
    • Work with the DBA to ensure the database schema is understood and suitable for subsequent integration requirements.
  • Managing Business Change
    • Provide detailed analysis to support the formation and development of business cases for assigned projects.
    • Develop/support the development of standard operating systems for training and handover to business.
    • Identify skills required by various roles and train superusers to provide them with skills to ensure business users optimize their use of systems.
  • Project Management
    • Project manage the analysis, design, development, configuration, and deployment of assigned IT projects.
    • Manage and develop Project plans within the framework of our Project Delivery methodology.
    • Engage with Senior Business managers on all significant projects and support through a Project Board.
    • Agree project costs and benefits. Manage assigned project budgets and progress against plan.
    • Document all project risks and issues, assign responsibilities, and validate progress on resolution.
    • Take a lead role to coordinate IT project activity to prioritize and optimize delivery of projects.
    • Ensure delivery of projects is aligned to business strategy and requirements.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' experience working as a Business Analyst or similar role(s)
