Deputy Team Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Team Manager to join our UASC Service team. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to the Team Manager and social work team, ensuring the effective delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Team Manager in decision-making, chairing meetings, and working in partnership with multi-agencies to advocate for our young people.
  • Develop and implement positive long-term change and improvements, promoting stable placements and effective pathway planning.
  • Support the recruitment, induction, training, and supervision of team members, championing professional career development.
  • Act as a Practice Educator, providing guidance and support to colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record as a Deputy Team Manager in Safeguarding/Permanence.
  • Confident in the application of legal proceedings and legal frameworks.
  • Robust understanding of young people's whole journey through the care system.
  • Experience in promoting stable placements and implementing positive long-term change.

What We Offer:

Working Arrangements:

  • 37 hours per week.
  • 09:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.
