Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team in an exceptional hospital based in Preston, Lancashire. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers.

About the Role:

This is an independent mental health hospital, specialising in the management and treatment of acute mental ill health and eating disorders. As a Nurse, your key duties will include:

  • Providing a high standard of care to individuals with mental illness
  • Developing therapeutic relationships to optimise patient engagement
  • Contributing to patient assessments, compiling a plan of care alongside the individual, and monitoring patient progress
  • Following all codes of conduct, standards and legislation, respecting the rights of others and promoting ethical practice
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin. The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Excellent team working skills
  • A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and to values-based and evidence-based practice
  • The drive to continually push your own personal learning and development
What We Offer:
