We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant to support our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Rotherham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end Payroll process across multiple payrolls, including weekly and monthly payrolls for over 3000 employees. This will involve managing statutory payments and deductions, as well as handling queries and providing support to the team.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Manage the Payroll process from start to finish, including processing payrolls, managing statutory payments and deductions, and handling queries* Provide support to the team, including answering phone calls and responding to emails* Work effectively under pressure and to deadline, handling high volumes of information and data* Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and reports* Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives* Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive information
**Requirements**
* Prior experience in a Payroll based position* Ability to work effectively under pressure and to deadline* Strong communication and interpersonal skills* Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion* Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
