About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Deputy Head of Sourcing and Contract Management to join our team at Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our procurement and supply chain management function, you will play a critical role in delivering efficient and effective procurement services across the trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the sourcing team and ensure the delivery of efficient and effective procurement services.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage complex procurement projects, including tendering and contract management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize procurement opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement policies and procedures, including EU procurement regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
