Job Description

Fugro is a leading provider of geo-data and services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Supervisor to join our team. As a Technical Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical uptime of our Uncrewed Service Vessels (USVs) and electric Remotely Operated Vehicles (eROVs) in the European and African region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small site-based team for project mobilisations, equipment installation, equipment calibrations, vessel and equipment maintenance, and technical fault finding.
  • Work hands-on with the remote equipment underpinning the transition from conventional survey to remote and uncrewed survey.
  • Ensure that components are operational to conduct investigation and inspections in accordance with project deliverables.
  • Work directly with clients and internal project management teams to provide daily progress reports on QHSE and operational performance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a senior technical management role, such as ROV Superintendent, Geophysical Technical Coordinator, Chief Engineer, Party Chief, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical distribution, survey equipment, ROV systems, and marine engineering.
  • Experience of logistical project mobilisations, operating planned maintenance systems, operating fault logging systems, and operating QHSE systems.
  • Ability to work shift patterns up to 4 weeks in length on sites across Europe and Africa.
