Upton Surgery is seeking a highly organized and dynamic Pharmacist Dispensary Manager to lead our Dispensary team. As our Dispensary Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the dispensary, including liaising with GP partners and practice manager & Pharmacy Teams to effectively manage stock levels, ensuring adequate levels are held and minimizing wastage and expenditure.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the team and support the delivery of an excellent service to our dispensing patients.
- Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual dispensary returns, run searches on the practice clinical system, and complete necessary audits.
- Develop, review, and improve standard operating procedures and policies.
- Manage the day-to-day running of a team of 9, including rotas and performance.
We are a friendly, forward-thinking General Practice with on-site NHS Community staff and Social Care staff. We are a training practice with 6 GP partners, 3 salaried doctors, 3 ANPs, and 1 clinical pharmacist, 2 Pharmacy technicians, and a dispensary on site.
Requirements:- Pharmacist qualification and registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience of team management and leadership.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
