Lead Mechanical Engineer - Maidenhead - Data Centres

We are partnering with a leading Mechanical Contractor in Europe to find engineering professionals to join their team. Our client works with top names in the Data Centre industry and requires a Lead Mechanical Engineer for their project in Maidenhead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to the sales department on UPS & Generator systems, focusing on mechanical packages.
  • Specify and design mechanical packages on UPS & Generators projects from project handover to completion.
  • Assist Project Managers with generating project-specific Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
  • Generate Factory Witness Test procedures and associated test documentation.
  • Attend Factory Witness Testing of UPS and Generators Systems in Europe and/or UK.
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent discipline.
  • Experience working as a Mechanical Design or Project Engineer.
  • Good knowledge of fluid transfer systems, ventilation systems, material selection, project management principles, CDM principles, etc.
  • Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems and components, electronic control systems and components, etc.
  • Ability to interpret and generate technical design documentation.
