Job Title – Senior BIM Designer

Location: Winchester / Southampton

The role will see you working on BIM development for information and asset management, data manipulation and visualisation, and automation. You will have the opportunity to use 2D and 3D data developing your core BIM, Modelling Software and specific developer skills like for example web or apps development and configuration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement BIM strategies for information and asset management
  • Manipulate and visualise data to support decision-making
  • Automate processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
Requirements
  • Qualification in Engineering, with a bias towards Design Engineering and/or Building Information Management
  • Ability to draw in 2D and 3D software
  • Knowledge of BS EN ISO 19650, and peripheral documents, such as AEC Protocol, and NBS
  • Awareness of UK Adoptable Standards (Section 38, 278, 104, 106 etc.)
  • Awareness of one or more front-end languages (e.g. HTML / CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
  • Awareness of one or more back-end languages (e.g. Java, Python, PHP) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Node.js)
