Housekeeper - Weekends

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at our residential care home in Stowmarket, Suffolk. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our residents' rooms and shared spaces.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of housekeeping experience and be able to work independently as part of a team. You will be responsible for cleaning client rooms and common areas, maintaining the laundry and linen stores, and ensuring all water and other spillages are cleaned up immediately.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, paid DBS checks, and ongoing support from management. If you are a well-organised, practical, and adaptable individual who enjoys working with older people, we encourage you to apply.

About the Role
  • Clean client rooms and common areas;
  • Maintain the laundry and linen stores in a safe, clean, tidy condition;
  • Ensure all water and other spillages are cleaned up immediately;
  • Work as part of a team to provide an excellent service to our residents;
  • Perform other duties assigned by your manager from time to time.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of housekeeping experience;
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team;
  • Reliable and detail-oriented;
  • Well-organised, practical, and adaptable;
  • Ability to work alternate weekends.
