Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare anaesthetic equipment and medications to ensure a smooth and safe anaesthetic process.
- Assist the anaesthetist during procedures, providing support and expertise to ensure the best possible outcomes.
- Monitor patients throughout anaesthesia and recovery, providing vigilant care and attention to detail.
- Provide exceptional post-operative care to support smooth recovery, addressing the physical and emotional needs of patients.
- Collaborate with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to deliver holistic patient care, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with protocols and regulations, upholding the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Registered Nurse (RN/RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification, with a valid and clear registration with the NMC or HCPC.
