Lead Theatre Practitioner

Circle Health Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Theatre Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative department, you will be responsible for delivering safe and high-quality care to patients during their perioperative phase of care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of theatre practitioners, coordinating staff training needs and resource requirements within a peri-operative function or surgical specialty.
- Assist in the delivery of patient care, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and safety.
- Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self, staying up-to-date with the latest best practices and evidence-based guidelines.
- Apply and promote best evidence-based practice within own scope of practice, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
- Maintain knowledge of Health and Safety at Work Act, ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to ensure the safety of patients, relatives, visitors, hospital staff, and contractors.
- Achieve agreed objectives and demonstrate Circle Health Group behaviours at all times.
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Minimum 3-year experience in coordination, ordering, first assistant, mentor, and overview of leading other.
- First surgical assistant certificate.
- Additional skills in recovery and anaesthetics.
- ILS.
- Mentorship qualification.
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
