Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Process Automation Engineer to join our team at Quarsh | B Corp Certified. As a key member of our Production Engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex automation systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance team in resolving technical issues and implementing lean improvements through automation.
- Design and develop new test equipment to enhance our manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with the Design team to productionize new products, ensuring seamless handovers.
- Implement controlled integration of new machines and assist with their setup.
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of PLC programming languages, including Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Rockwell Automation.
Requirements
- Hold a degree-level qualification in computer engineering or a related field.
- Have a strong understanding of ladder logic, control flow, and PLC hardware architecture.
- Be proficient in PLC programming languages and have experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) software and SCADA systems.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
