Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Oncology Nurse to provide exceptional care to patients in their homes. This role involves working within the M25 area, and we welcome applications from all qualified Oncology Nurses in London and surrounding regions.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary: Up to £50,700
  • Remote Role: Fully expensed SUV company car and fuel card
  • Annual Leave: 28 days plus bank holidays
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday with a 1 in 4 weekend rota

Role Responsibilities:
As an Oncology Nurse, you will:

  • Provide field-based support to patients, performing blood tests, toxicity assessments, and administering IV and oral chemotherapy.
  • Conduct pump disconnections, line care, IM/SC injections, and patient training.
  • Deliver personalized 1:1 patient care, making a significant impact on their lives in the comfort of their homes.
  • Work independently while being part of a larger oncology team that cares for approximately 100,000 patients annually.
  • Manage a caseload of 1 to 5 patients daily, requiring extensive travel across the region.

Candidate Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A valid NMC PIN and relevant oncology qualifications.
  • Competency in administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and experience in cannulation and venepuncture.
  • A high level of empathy and care to support patients in achieving their health goals.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage your own workload effectively.
  • Basic IT skills and a full UK driving license, as travel to and from patient locations is essential.
