Deputy Care Home Manager

At Tender Healthcare Consulting Ltd, we're committed to providing exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Deputy Registered Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our care home and delivering high-quality care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Support: Assist the Registered Manager in managing the care home, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively in line with CQC guidelines and organisational policies.
- Staff Management: Supervise and support care staff, ensuring they're well-equipped to carry out their duties. Lead by example, demonstrating high standards of care and offering guidance where needed.
- Care Planning: Assist in developing and monitoring personalised care plans for each resident, ensuring they're up-to-date and compliant with regulatory standards.
- Compliance and Audits: Help ensure the care home meets CQC requirements by participating in internal audits and inspections. Work with the Registered Manager to implement any required improvements or changes.
- Training and Development: Support staff training and development initiatives, ensuring team members are fully qualified and competent in delivering high standards of care.
- Resident and Family Liaison: Act as a point of contact for residents and their families, addressing concerns and ensuring residents feel heard and supported.
- Health and Safety: Ensure the care home maintains a safe environment, following health and safety protocols rigorously.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), with a commitment to working towards a Level 5 qualification.
- Experience in a senior care role, such as Deputy Manager or Senior Care Assistant.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, care standards, and safeguarding requirements.
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, support, and guide a team.
