Industrial Combustion Service Technician

Our client, a leading mechanical and industrial engineering company, is seeking a skilled Industrial Combustion Service Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance of boiler plant on customer sites, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Respond to customer call-outs, including participation in the out-of-hours rota system, to provide timely and effective support.
- Evaluate and resolve technical problems, utilizing expertise in combustion and boiler plant systems.
- Fault find, diagnose, and repair issues with combustion, process, and boiler plant equipment.
- Install, commission, and service combustion, process, and boiler plant, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Test and monitor the performance of equipment and plant, providing regular reports and feedback to customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, offering upgrade and energy-saving options to enhance their service experience.
- Contribute to business development and sales efforts, identifying opportunities to grow the company's presence in the industrial combustion sector.
- Ensure compliance with the company's health and safety, quality, and environmental procedures, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
- Hold relevant gas qualifications, including COCN1, ICPN1, CIGA1, and CORT1.
- Possess a strong proven engineering background within the combustion industry or boilerhouse maintenance.
- Have field-based service engineer experience, with a focus on industrial combustion and boiler plant systems.
- Previous experience of working to health and safety requirements, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Knowledge of steam, hot water, and thermal oil boiler plant and digital combustion control systems.
