About the Role

As a Sous Chef at Holroyd Howe, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional dining experiences for our students. Collaborate with our culinary team to develop innovative menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs. Your expertise will ensure that every dish meets our high standards of quality, presentation, and flavor.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef Manager in food preparation, production, and service, ensuring seamless execution of menus and events.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and food safety.
  • Contribute to menu planning, taking into account seasonal ingredients, nutritional guidelines, and client preferences.
  • Oversee stock control and ordering, maintaining optimal inventory levels and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to deliver exceptional events, themed dinners, and culinary initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Support the Chef Manager in administrative tasks, such as scheduling, budgeting, and record-keeping.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, culinary techniques, and new ingredients to enhance menu offerings and dining experiences.
