Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team at Janus Henderson Investors. As an Infrastructure Solutions Architect, you will design, develop, and lead the implementation of comprehensive infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's strategic goals.

About the Role

This is a key role within our organization, and the successful candidate will have extensive experience in infrastructure architecture with a strong focus on Azure Cloud environments. You will be responsible for designing and implementing modern workplace and EUC solutions, as well as leading the adoption of TOGAF framework and ensuring compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and align with the company's strategic goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Azure Cloud, providing guidance on best practices, security, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain architecture for network security and performance, leveraging Palo Alto and Cisco technologies.
  • Architect modern workplace solutions focusing on Microsoft 365, Azure Entra ID, and EUC architectures.
  • Guide the modernization of data centres, servers, and storage solutions, incorporating VMWARE technologies.
  • Champion IT security initiatives, identifying potential vulnerabilities, and recommending mitigative measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and interoperability of systems and applications.
  • Lead the adoption of TOGAF framework and ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the organization.

Requirements
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure architecture with a strong focus on Azure Cloud environments.
  • Proven expertise in network architectures, specifically with Palo Alto and Cisco technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability in designing and implementing modern workplace and EUC solutions.
  • Deep understanding of VMWARE, servers, storage, and data centre modernization.
  • Familiarity with IT security principles, architecture best practices, TOGAF framework, and Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Leadership experience and proficiency in Project Management or Agile delivery practices.
