Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Niyaa People. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake surveys and produce specifications of works using NHF or bespoke schedules of rates
  • Prepare final accounts and weekly/monthly valuations for clients
  • Minimise overdue payments and ensure best value is achieved from suppliers
  • Review material and sub-contractor invoices/payments
Requirements:
  • Good experience working on social housing contracts
  • Previous experience of working on either the Planned side OR Reactive/Voids side
  • Essential experience in coding/invoicing using SORs
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
