About the RoleWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to oversee our agricultural and turf dealership in Dorchester.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the branch's performance, meeting business objectives, and ensuring the satisfaction of customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Executing the business plan and achieving financial performance, including sales, budgets, and cost control.
- Ensuring effective communication within and across departments at the branch.
- Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and resolving critical issues.
- Supporting the sales team and promoting best practices.
- Implementing health and safety requirements and communicating with other branch managers.
- Overseeing maintenance, security, and the professional appearance of the facility and property.
- Liaising with HR and providing input on the hiring, development, and evaluation of employees.
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 1+ years of experience as a Branch/Operations Manager.
- 3+ years of experience as a people manager, ideally in parts, service, or sales.
- Knowledge of financial metrics and a solid understanding of sales, parts, and service operations.
- Previous experience in the agriculture industry, preferably with John Deere products.
- Strong analytical, business planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
