We are seeking an experienced Electronics Development Engineer to join our team at a leading manufacturing company in Hertfordshire/Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to contribute to the development of industry-leading technologies in a dynamic and growing sector.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design verification testing and troubleshooting circuit designs. They will be responsible for creating detailed test plans, procedures, and reports, while coordinating with external testing partners for EMC validation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing electronic circuits to identify and resolve issues, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Assisting with PCB fabrication processes and utilising design software such as Altium Designer (or similar).
  • Performing electrical design verification tests, accounting for worst-case scenarios, stress calculations, temperature effects, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field and a minimum of 2 years' post-graduate experience in an R&D environment. They will be proficient in using electronic testing equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, signal generators) and familiar with EMC standards.
