IT Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our global client's team. As a key member of the IT department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and maintenance for our IT systems, including network management, firewall configuration, and VPN setup.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve IT-related issues, ensuring effective service delivery and minimal downtime.
- Contribute to the delivery of IT projects, including system upgrades, network expansions, and application deployments.
- Develop and maintain consistent processes aligned with information security management, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and best practices.
- Provide training and communication on IT systems for all employees, ensuring seamless adoption and utilization.
- Support the procurement and configuration of new business systems, ensuring alignment with business requirements and IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethics, and best practices, handling complaints in a courteous manner and ensuring follow-up actions are taken.
Requirements:
- Current role within an IT Helpdesk team.
- Hands-on experience with O365 administration and corporate network management.
- Experience managing critical system outages and improving IT policies.
- Knowledge of Windows PC, laptop, and server environments.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 and Cisco networking principles.
- Working knowledge of PowerShell and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
- IT-related qualification required.
What We Offer:
- Competitive daily rate of £190.92 (PAYE) or £250.50 (UMB).
- Full-time contract for 12 months, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
