Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Process Specialist, you will:
- Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with established safety protocols, utilizing standard operating procedures, appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and safety assessments. You will also contribute to the development of these safety methods where necessary.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of plant operations and processes, along with a solid grasp of distributed control systems, local controllers, and manual operations.
- Take ownership of the quality and timely completion of tasks assigned to the Operations team.
- Measure and document the quantities and qualities of all materials produced, including by-products and waste, using in-house laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining relevant skills and competencies by participating in appropriate training and development programs.
- Record and manage all waste materials produced, coordinating with management for their safe storage and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and site requirements regarding the management of waste materials.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work (or equivalent)
- Confined Space Certification
- Boiler Training
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with waste management, energy-from-waste processes, or similar operational environments is advantageous. Relevant qualifications or experience in Electrical, Instrumentation/Controls, or Mechanical fields are also preferred.
