We are seeking a highly organised and professional Legal Secretary to join our dedicated team in Perth. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the conveyancing team, including managing correspondence, filing, and document preparation.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the conveyancing team, including managing correspondence, filing, and document preparation.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, such as sale agreements, transfer documents, and property reports.
- Manage client communications and maintain strong relationships with clients, third parties, and colleagues.
- Organise and schedule meetings, appointments, and property viewings.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases related to conveyancing matters.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm policies throughout the conveyancing process.
- Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar administrative role, preferably within conveyancing but open to experiences across other disciplines.
- Strong understanding of property law and legal terminology related to conveyancing would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and client-focused attitude.
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
