Our client, a prominent accountancy firm, is seeking a Senior Personal Tax Consultant to join their dynamic team. This role provides a unique opportunity to engage in diverse aspects of personal tax and trust management. Candidates with varying levels of experience are encouraged to apply, provided they possess relevant tax and practice knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of Personal Tax clients
  • Assisting the management team with a range of tax-related tasks for a substantial client base
  • Preparing Personal Tax Computations and Returns for various clients, including Directors and High Net Worth Individuals
  • Supporting clients with Personal Tax Planning to optimize their tax obligations
  • Guiding clients in managing their Personal Tax matters, ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of financial documents to verify the accuracy of Self-Assessment Returns
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients to resolve queries and address tax-related concerns
  • Interacting with HMRC regarding inquiries
  • Assisting with Trust-related work

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accountancy Practice
  • Strong ambition to advance a career in Personal Tax and provide valuable advice to clients
  • Familiarity with IRIS software or similar applications is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform effectively under pressure
